KALMA - find your own calm
Kalma is a collection of carefully designed jewellery that enhances the wearer's ability to cope with stress using its unique sensory properties. It is designed as a personal reminder, assisting individuals in grounding themselves in the present moment for greater balance and a serene mind. Balancing its sculptural aesthetics and strong sensory appeal with sustainable design and materials, this silver collection is the perfect choice for those in search of calm.
By engaging the senses and exploring these special objects with mindful awareness, individuals are invited to invite peace and balance into their daily lives. The collection comprises 5 pieces: earrings, a ring, a bracelet, a pendant and an object.
Each piece is accompanied by a unique guided mindfulness meditation, guiding users on how to utilise the item to discover their own sense of calm. All Kalma jewellery is designed and made to last using sustainable and ethical methods and materials. The project received co-financing from the Republic of Slovenia and the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund. urskasË™ is a design studio and jewellery brand founded in 2019 in London by Urska Sadar. With a background in architecture and fashion design, Sadar combines her love for design with a passion for jewellery. Her designs are playful, exploring the human scale, and intended to evoke senses, often incorporating sound and movement as an essential part of the experience. Originally from Slovenia, Sadar began her creative journey by pursuing a master's degree in Architecture and a degree in Fashion and Textile Design. Eager to expand her expertise, she refined her skills in jewellery design and craftsmanship through a program at the renowned Central Saint Martins. Currently based in Ljubljana, Sadar works on various commissioned projects, focusing on jewellery, products, and interior design.
