My name is Dorotea and I am the owner of the Laridae brand. Although I have a master's degree in chemistry, I have nurtured my love for art since I was a child. Parallel to classical education, I also acquired musical education, so I can say that I am a classical artistic soul. Laridae jewelry has been on the market since 2019, it was created as a product of passion and love for fashion and jewelry. It is inspired by boho style, nature, and geometry, and is incorporated into a contemporary design in order to adapt as faithfully as possible to today's woman who is looking for everything in one place. It was created for a strong woman who skilfully flirts with her romantic and somewhat wild side. It is intended for all age groups and can be worn on all occasions. I chose brass as the main medium because it is extremely light and comfortable to wear, it is similar to gold and looks elegant with any outfit. In addition to their beauty, brass pieces of jewelry are hypoallergenic and extremely healthy to wear because they contain large amounts of copper and zinc, which are necessary for every person, so wearing them directly has great health benefits. In my work, I like to combine different techniques with which I create different patterns on metal and thus create interesting reliefs that give the pieces a sense of depth. Brass can be shaped however you like and with proper maintenance, it can last for decades.
