Studio Ljudje is in charge of designing a visual identity for this year's theatre season for SLG Celje, a theatre located in Celje town in Slovenia. Part of the challenge was to design a series of posters - one for each of the seven premieres of the season - capturing the essence of each individual show and, at the same time, maintaining the recognizable appearance of the general visual identity.
The posters showcase a range of emotions that reflect the genres of the plays through images, shapes, different techniques, use of typography, and color combinations.
The same color scheme, typography and design principles are the red thread of the series. The images incorporated in some of the posters are AI-generated - imaginary - as are the characters in plays. The color scheme resembles the colors found in theatres: red velvety curtains and chairs, bright yellow spotlights and gloomy darkness…
