Boogie Lab revives the spirit of the 70s through a revolutionary blend of an artisanal bakery, bistro, and bar, while the world-recognizable branding exudes luxury at every turn.
A dynamic branding has been created that successfully permeates all digital materials (social media profiles, presentations) and printed materials (menus, space branding, product packaging, delivery boxes, manifest).
Particularly noteworthy is the design of various boxes for the most famous Boogie Lab & Kroštula products – Panettone and Pinca, which have achieved global recognition. The characteristic cube pattern has been realized in different color palettes inspired by the flavors of the products. In addition to simple basic boxes, a premium two-part box has been created. Silken ribbons and the experience of opening further emphasize the luxury of the products, making them ideal for gifting, while the bottom part of the box serves as a cutting board for sweet bread.
Karlo Jelić is the creative director of Boogie Lab and the founder of the award-winning design, branding, photography, and creative leadership studio – Studio Senzacija. He graduated from the Design Studies program at the Faculty of Architecture in Zagreb, specializing in industrial design, and is a recipient of the Rector's Award. During his studies, he was a demonstrator in photography and film courses.
His career is marked by numerous collaborations and solo and group exhibitions, with particular emphasis on his work with the conceptual brand Mojati. Karlo also completed a course in analog photography at the International Center of Photography in New York.
Among the clients he has collaborated with are Croatia Insurance, Ledo, Antique, Joop, HNS, and the restaurant Pelegrini.
