“The Emerging South” is an exhibition managed and curated by LOCAL, an organization that works to promote Chilean design, partner of ZGDW.

The exhibition brings together 20 posters created by Chilean designers, offering a comprehensive vision of new trends and the current state of graphic design in the country. These pieces stand out for their great technical quality and broad aesthetic definition, where they address contemporary themes that reflect cultural diversity and opinion in the global context. 

The exhibition seeks to project Chilean design in the international context, highlighting the talent and creativity of this collective, and positioning Chile as a relevant player in the contemporary design scene. “The Emerging South” exhibits the ability to innovate and generate new trends in graphic design, integrating identity elements typical of the territory, the conflicts of local culture and the incredible experimental ability of the creators.
