A playful yet refined lamp offering dynamic lighting aesthetics with customizable features tailored to individual preferences.

Project

In the Industrial Design I course, the assignment was to design an ambient lighting fixture tailored to a specific target group. The task required focusing on play, balance, and harmony to achieve the desired form, optimal lighting, and an interesting aesthetic impression. Interactivity and the possibility of individual design were key components of the project. The final product is a table lamp that allows users to customize it using modular strips and a telescopic antenna. The element of play is incorporated through the strips, which allow for adjustment in several degrees. The lampshade is made of PVC paper with a thickness of 0.1 mm, which is resistant to water, moisture, and wear, and also offers the possibility of printing applications. The central axis is a magnetic telescopic antenna that enables mobility and rotation along the longitudinal axis. The bases are made of brushed aluminum, which requires minimal maintenance and is resistant to scratching. It is possible to change the color of the light using color filters that are placed on the panel, thus increasing interactivity and customization options.

This lamp fulfills its function and becomes visually attractive thanks to the dynamic possibilities of adaptation to the user, allowing the user to become "a designer."
