Stools with character for meditation, balance, and shared enjoyment in nature.

Project

The Ploha project was created as a student work during the second semester at the School of Design. Through the exploration of the relationship between rope and wooden surfaces, a new typology of low stools was developed, designed for relaxation and leisure in nature. The four different stools are lightweight and easily portable. One serves as a table, while the others are intended for meditation, balance, and use by two people simultaneously. Each stool features characteristic knots as innovative structural elements and a unique graphic design on the surface that ensures more comfortable seating.
