Kištra’s offer consists of plush toys called Gumbeki, Filceki, Zmijice, and Sunčeko, and in addition to that Lea also makes plushies to order. Gumbeki is a modular plush toy that stimulates creativity and enhances motor skills through play. Each toy consists of several parts which are connected to each other by buttons. The arrangement of different shapes helps to develop imagination and creativity. As they come in parts, kids can create a toy in the way they want, but the parts can also be arranged according to the scheme on the package.
Filceki are DIY kits for making toys. Each set contains pieces of fabric, wool, a plastic needle, stuffing, and instructions. By following the instructions, every child can make their own toy by themselves or with the help of a grown-up. In addition to the classic Filceki, fictional characters, they are also available as pendants and as various animals. Zmijice are fun snake plushies for both kids and adults, and they are available in different sizes and colors. They gained their popularity in the „Igračke Vavra“ toy shop, from where they also kept their characteristic eyes. Sunčeko is a sun plush that has a pocket on the back containing a pillow filled with millet and lavender. The pillow can be heated to warm and soothe your child or chilled in a freezer for cooling relief. The rays are made of materials of different colors and textures, which, in addition to visual stimulation, also provide a stimulus for the development of tactile senses.
Kištra is a brand from Zagreb dedicated to the design and production of handmade textile toys. It was created by product designer Lea Vavra, in the hopes of continuing her family’s tradition of producing toys. What makes Kištra's toys special is their purposeful design, which helps improve fine motor skills and develop the creative capability of every child. Kištra is guided by the idea that playing, in addition to being fun, can be intelligent, stimulating, and good for a child's health. Kištra originates from the old Zagreb toy store “Igračke Vavra”, founded by Lea's grandmother, Ružica Vavra, from whom Lea inherited her love for toys and quality, handmade products.
