The Media Design program aims to foster creativity, as well as the highest level of quality in visual communication, thereby developing students' readiness for innovation and the use of the latest tools in creating media and multimedia content. The competencies that students will acquire through this program include: excellent knowledge of design and interdisciplinary communication in the digital space; independent design of media systems and typography; confident management of creative processes, in-depth knowledge of creative industries, print, radio, mobile platforms, and television; project management in web design and production, information visualization, audio production, and digital media graphics; development of knowledge and skills in photography, applied drawing, presentation techniques, and media scenography; management of departments for multimedia storytelling, animated graphics, 3D animation, and new media.
The exhibition of student works from the undergraduate and graduate study of the Department of Media Design at the University of the North is a group author's exhibition that includes a selection of works realised during the entire period of study, including selected final and graduation theses. The concept of the exhibition, designed by the students, presents a wide range of student works in the informal environment of a "designer's living room", enabling visitors to experience the atmosphere and quality of work at the Department of Media Design.
