Exat is a typeface inspired by the modernist legacy of EXAT 51, a pioneering Croatian avant-garde art collective from the 1950s. Studio Size developed the promotional graphics, motion design, and a dedicated microsite to showcase the typeface’s structural clarity and versatility. Through posters, animations, and kinetic typography, the project explored the expressive potential of the typeface, balancing mid-century aesthetics with precision and contemporary expression. The microsite offers an immersive experience that highlights Exat’s adaptability and design ethos. By merging modernist principles with contemporary digital design, the project pays tribute to a significant movement in Croatian design history.
