Visual Identity and Branding of Trnjanski kresovi

Project

Trnjanski kresovi is an annual event commemorating the liberation of Zagreb from fascism, combining a daytime program of workshops, panels, and concerts with an evening program featuring bonfire lighting and Antifa Night. The visual identity of Trnjanski kresovi 2024 is inspired by the event’s dual nature — the bonfire acts as a transition from the day to the night program, from communal gathering to a musical celebration of resistance.

The dominant motif of a stylized flame emphasizes the event’s dynamism and energy, while bold, character-rich typography completes the visual language. The visual identity extends to merchandise featuring the slogan “Sisterhood and Unity”, highlighting the values of equality, solidarity, and togetherness.
