The structural identity of the exhibition is based on the core elements of a football field – lines and nets. By transforming these geometric forms and adding rhythm, a flexible system was created for displaying both infographics and objects.
Stretching throughout the exhibition space, the line shifts from a two-dimensional into a three-dimensional element, forming part of the exhibition architecture itself – serving as supports for infographics, as well as tables and pedestals for exhibits. In addition to these primary structural components, props characteristic of football matches are also incorporated – corner flags, scoreboards, and fan flags – accompanied by audio effects of chanting and cheering, reinforcing the impression of being on a pitch or at a live game.
Given the importance of football in Pula’s cultural identity, the exhibition pays tribute to the players, participants, and the game itself. The graphic language is inspired by the aesthetics of mid-to-late 20th-century sports sticker albums. For this occasion, an actual sticker album was produced to serve as the official exhibition catalogue.
