Slow down!
After the Climate Dictionary and the Vote for the Earth! campaign in previous years, terrapija 3.0 focuses on critically reflecting on consumerism.
We chose this theme to raise awareness that our consumerist way of life is primarily about energy.
The task for Media Design students, titled Anti-advertisement for a Fast World, was to select one of the proposed topics and design an anti-advertisement that would encourage people to reflect on the impact of a fast-paced lifestyle on the planet. Because behind our accelerated everyday lives—fast travel, fast food, fast fashion, and even knowledge we want to gain quickly with the help of artificial intelligence—lies a high price: increasing energy consumption, more waste, and higher carbon emissions that worsen the climate crisis.
In terrapija 3.0, we are inviting the world to slow down.
Take a look at the ten best works selected by the expert jury and reflect: “Do I really need more, everything, fast and now—or can I live differently, more slowly, with more love for the Earth?”
