Lumbrela, an accounting and advisory brand established in 2011, underwent a rebranding process to refresh its outdated visual communication and strengthen its digital presence. The aim was to modernize the brand, appeal to a younger clientele and workforce, and highlight the flexibility and modernity of its services.
The brand name, derived from a local expression for "umbrella", served as the foundation for the visual metaphor.
The key symbol is a modular, circular icon formed by rotating L-shapes, referencing both the initial of the name and the concept of growth. It simultaneously evokes an umbrella, a boomerang (symbolizing return on investment), and an eye, Lumbrela’s focused view on clients’ finances.
The typography contains a subtle yet powerful detail: the letter "e" is stylized to resemble a miniature umbrella, a refined touch within the overall visual system.
The color palette is inspired by Rijeka’s rain, two shades of blue blend into a misty gradient, enriched with vibrant pink. The silhouette of the umbrella shapes the edges of clouds and sky, while the logo itself represents a ring of security in a dynamic business environment.
