From a winery led by three generations comes Preiner III, a premium cuvée made of three grape varieties, some of them unique to the winery’s micro-location. Heritage, quality, and elegance are the three core values of Preiner Wines, and all of them are embodied in this wine and its label.
The goal was pure elegance that speaks louder than words, guided by the idea that design is only complete when there is nothing left to remove. Since the winery’s visual identity includes elements of classical architecture, these same elements were used for Preiner III: two precisely positioned layers of paper recreate the structure and dimensionality of a fluted column. The only graphic element on the label is the numeration, each bottle has a unique number printed in bronze foil, appearing as if carved in stone.
The result is a technically demanding yet visually simple label for a complex wine that transforms the bottle into a classical pillar.
