This series of theatre posters explores the relationship between typography, materials, and the thematic layer of a theatre performance. The starting point of the concept was to consider how visuals can approach the inner essence of a performance without being illustrative or literal, but through an abstract and conceptual approach.
Each of the three posters is based on the same physical base, white fabric. By folding, creasing, and stretching the fabric, various forms are created that serve as visual carriers of the narrative tone of each individual performance.
The typography, placed directly on this fabric, adapts to its shapes and folds, in some cases it crosses over the creases, in others it collides with them or disappears. This creates a dialogue between text and texture, further emphasizing the tension between language and physicality in theatre.
