Project

Design of the visual identity, catalogue, and promotional materials for the exhibition The Voice of Jovanka Broz, conceptualized by Dejan Jović and curated by Davorka Perić, organized by the Serb National Council (SNV). The exhibition highlights the voice of a woman through three distinct phases of Jovanka Broz’s life, where her unwavering stance and perseverance come to the fore. It re-establishes a continuous voice of a fighter and the First Lady of Yugoslavia, restoring the seemingly silenced voice of the protagonist after her forced separation from Tito and the period of silence that followed Tito’s death and the breakup of Yugoslavia. This era of isolation is interpreted as her conscious decision — a dignified form of resistance to the social and political climate that rejected her.
