RAWINO is a natural wine crafted using ecological principles and ancient winemaking techniques, including sublunar maceration in clay amphorae buried in Istrian soil. To reflect this philosophy through packaging, actual elements from the ground above the amphorae were transferred onto the bottle. Wild herbs and grasses from the site were used as stencils in a custom silkscreen process, with vineyard soil mixed directly into the ink. Instead of a conventionally designed label, nature itself “printed” each one—without graphic interventions. Since no print shop could accommodate this process, a home silkscreen studio was set up in the winery cellar, where each label was hand-printed. As the wine matures in clay, ceramic bottles were chosen to complete the story—forming a full circle between the product, its packaging, and the place it was born. RAWINO stands as an example of true synergy between content, form, and origin.
