The artisanal production of Favarger chocolate began with a love story in 1826, when a young watchmaker fell in love with a chocolatier’s daughter in Geneva. He learned the craft from his father-in-law and started a chocolate-making journey that continues to this day. The redesign of Favarger’s packaging was inspired by this enduring story of love and craftsmanship. The aim was to highlight the artisanal character of the brand, its long-standing tradition, handmade production, and the sense of family that runs through every aspect of the product. The new packaging system reinforces Favarger as a “passionate chocolate family” through its signature and seal found on every item, from simple cellophane bags to luxurious praline boxes. The system is designed to elevate the unboxing experience, whether for personal indulgence or gift-giving. Over 50 packaging formats were created, including retail elements, wrapping paper, molds, and supporting communication pieces. Classic elegance meets functionality and storytelling, creating a contemporary identity for Switzerland’s oldest chocolatier.
