The international summer street festival Cest is d'Best brings together around 400 street performers from all over the world, including clowns, trumpeters, musicians, dancers, jugglers, and acrobats who entertain locals and tourists daily at various city center locations such as Cvjetni Square, Zrinjevac Park, and Ban Jelačić Square. By collaging photographs and colorful ink graphics, dynamic acrobatic scenes are created that convey the festival’s playful and relaxed atmosphere. Ink graphics replace acrobatic props such as trapezes and juggling balls used in performances. The acrobats on the posters are connected to various city locations where the festival takes place. The logo was created using the linocut technique.
Nera Hasan was born in Zagreb and is a first-year student at the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Architecture, School of Design. In her work, she enjoys experimenting with various techniques and media. So far, she has exhibited at the French Institute in an exhibition titled Šetnja, vizije i rožata as part of a comic workshop, in the final exhibition of the Visual Communications course at the School of Design, and at the ZGRAF exhibition within the collaborative workshop Prostor svima – (ne)zadovoljstvo svima.
