In Between is a collection of notebooks that combines functional design with an aesthetic experience through simple forms, rhythmic compositions and geometric shapes. It is intended for young creatives and students seeking a product that encourages introspective thinking and visual calm. The key elements of its execution include minimalist design and a careful selection of colours.Simple forms, rhythmic compositions, geometry that conveys emotion.
The project In Between explores the relationship between space and emotion through minimalism and geometric expression. The work uses simple, yet rhythmically arranged forms that create tension between control and feeling, structure and freedom. Geometry becomes a medium of emotion rather than constraint, opening a space for the viewer’s inner dialogue.
Dario Jakasović, originally from Split, is a student of design and audiovisual communications in Pula. He is interested in photography and design in the field of experimental art. He finds inspiration in minimalism, music and experimenting with different techniques. Through art, the author seeks to portray a fusion of emotions that shape how we perceive the world around us. These feelings evoke states ranging from overwhelm to absurdity, revealing how reality can sometimes wound us. In the work, the author aims to present a complete picture, both the dark and the light side of life, reflecting the way emotions are experienced. Positive and negative feelings are translated into a personal vision of the world as it appears.
