This work presents the new visual identity of the Pregrada Municipal Museum. The project was created as a personal contribution to the contemporary design of cultural institutions through graphic design. By exploring local symbolism, space, and meaning, a mark was created that simultaneously preserves heritage and communicates with the audience in a modern, recognizable, and strong way.
The new visual identity departs from the previous visual expression but retains the key motif,  the silhouette of the Zagorje Cathedral. Playing with the contours of this shape, a star-like symbol is formed, which, through its clarity and simplicity, leaves a strong visual impression. Within the mark, negative space forms the letter "M",  further emphasizing the central role of the Museum.
The project's goal is to position the Museum on Croatia’s cultural and tourist map. The mark is symbolically rendered in gold, commemorating the institution’s anniversary year, which further highlights its solemnity and importance within the local community.
The entire identity is complemented by the slogan Museum under the Kunagora, inviting visitors to discover the cultural, historical, and natural values of the Pregrada region. The project merges local identity with a contemporary visual language, creating a lasting and recognizable communication system.
