Slovenia’s largest student marketing conference

Project

Fanfara is the largest student marketing conference in Slovenia, offering a dynamic program featuring lectures from renowned marketing professionals. Interactive workshops provide hands-on experience, while a dedicated career speed-dating session helps connect students with potential employers. The 17th edition explored the theme “Where is the limit?”— addressing the challenges of today’s work environment and the search for balance between professional and personal life. The conference examined ambition—when it is motivating and healthy, and when it becomes overwhelming. Topics included branding, advertising, creative thinking, innovation, and the power of childlike curiosity in generating ideas. The Fanfara 2024 visual identity was inspired by the idea of constant change and shifting boundaries—both physical and mental. Dynamic graphic elements symbolize flexibility and blurred lines, reflecting evolving perspectives. A vibrant color palette illustrates the contrast between relentless work and the need to pause and reconnect with nature.

The Fanfara 2024 project was created by a multidisciplinary group of students working within the Student Section of the Slovenian Marketing Association. United by a passion for branding, communication, and marketing, the team collaboratively developed the concept and visual identity of the conference. It consists of students of marketing, graphic design, communication, and UX/UI design, each bringing unique perspectives and expertise.
In addition to design, the team also worked on content creation, branding, social media communication, and visual storytelling, ensuring consistency across all platforms. Their collaborative approach enabled the conference to achieve record attendance and further solidified its reputation as Slovenia’s leading student marketing event. The project illustrates how student-led initiatives—fueled by teamwork, experimentation, and a clear vision—can reach a high professional standard and have a meaningful impact on the community.
