A chair between scenography and everyday life, shaped by light and space

Project

Chair 2001 is inspired by iconic science fiction films such as 2001: A Space Odyssey, Metropolis, and Blade Runner, known for featuring distinctive design furniture. Conceived for use in scenography, the chair combines a sense of wonder and elegance through simple forms. It is made of bent stainless steel, with fully polished surfaces that reflect light and create an effect reminiscent of celestial bodies. The backrest and seat are designed as round elements – satellites – that enhance its cosmic symbolism.
Although originally designed for film sets, the chair fits seamlessly into everyday interiors, adding a unique atmosphere.
