The redesign of this handheld kitchen mixer retains its ergonomic, compact, and easy-to-use qualities while improving its aesthetics, multifunctionality, intuitiveness, universality, and clear signaling and user interface.
This concept represents a hybrid of a handheld and stick mixer with three slots at the bottom for interchangeable universal blades. The additional power potential is used through direct transmission of rotation along the motor’s vertical axis. The mixer’s design follows circular economy principles, using durable materials and assemblies without glue and screws, minimizing waste and allowing easy access for repairs. The assembly includes a unique blender attachment that integrates into the base shape, forming a clean geometric form.
The user interface features an LED display and uses light signaling as the main mode of communication. The mixer automatically recognizes the attached accessory and its function, adjusting speed and settings accordingly. It is compact, designed with user interaction and convenient storage in mind. With its retro-futuristic look and gender-neutral aesthetic, the mixer creates an emotional connection by considering the intimacy of the household space and the sense of nostalgia tied to preparing food.
