Zagreb University of Applied Sciences (TVZ) is a leading higher education institution in the field of applied technical sciences in Croatia. Through its undergraduate and graduate professional programs, TVZ combines theoretical knowledge with practical skills and emerging technologies.
At this exhibition, we present the study program in IT Design, a course that brings together technical expertise and creative competencies in visual communication, user interface design, interactive media, filmmaking and digital storytelling.
Our students are designers, developers and storytellers, often all at once. In the space where technology meets design, new professions are being imagined.
Sustainable optimism
In times of exhaustion and crisis, how can we imagine futures that are both sustainable and desirable? This theme brings together works that reject both the paralysis of pessimism and the naivety of technological enthusiasm. Students explore design as a space of resilience, care and responsible hope.
Promise me a future
The future is often presented as a promise of progress, security and change. This exhibition unit deals precisely with those promises, who makes them, who receives them and what remains when we question them. The works open a space between the real and the possible, between projection and disappointment.
The future of education
Education shapes not only knowledge but also social relations, values and possibilities for action. This thematic unit explores new roles of technology, learning and collective knowledge creation. Students envision the education of tomorrow as a space of openness, accessibility and transformation.
