The lecture Solid Wood in Interior Design, Technical Possibilities and Challenges is delivered by Petar Borović. In an era of digital and short-lived solutions, solid wood remains a material that brings warmth, authenticity and durability to a space. Borović shares technical insights, from the selection, treatment and processing of raw materials, through the combination of craftsmanship and CNC technology, to adaptation to contemporary interiors. A special part of the lecture is dedicated to millennial oaks from the Sava riverbed, presented through the Miena collection exhibited at ZDW in the Jadran Film space, a material with a timeless story and character. The lecture combines natural materials, tradition and creativity in contemporary design.
