I was approached by The Guardian, to create this topical supplement. The subject was “anger” and the brief was very specific: to communicate it in the broadest possible sense since the whole piece is dedicated to the topic on different levels. The final result was to send the final version of the 3rd page of the magazine, it was of great importance to make the illusion of a crumpled page more real.
Tomato Koširborn in Kranj, lives in Ljubljana, Slovenia. Graduated from the Secondary School of Design and Photography in Ljubljana, and from the Department of Design of the Academy of Fine Arts and Design, University of Ljubljana. Taught at the Department of Design of the Academy of Fine Arts and Design, University of Ljubljana. Organiser of TypeClinic, international typeface design workshops. His works have been displayed in Slovenia and abroad at more than eighty group exhibitions of graphic design and in more than thirty foreign books. Recipient of domestic and international awards. Some of them are: Red Dot Award, Merit Award of the Art Directors Club in New York; Type Directors Club Award New York; the Graphis Merit Award; D&AD awards, Communication Arts winner, the Grand Prix Brumen Award of the Biennial of Slovene Visual Communication.
