Runo rugs are made using the highest quality organic certified wools from Europe and New Zealand. Tightly hand-tufted to the highest standard of craftsmanship, Runo rugs have great acoustic properties and bring exceptional comfort and luxury to spaces. The first collection of Runo rugs plays with simple geometry, exploring the idea of accidental folds and rugs being thrown one on top of another. To achieve that effect they come in two different colors and are trimmed in two pile heights. With regard to global sustainable development goals, particularly sustainable consumption and production, using wool for carpet manufacturing is the logical and optimal choice when taking price, quality and the environmental effect into consideration. Wool is a natural and renewable raw material, and as such is particularly environmentally friendly, while also displaying special characteristics that offer important advantages, such as the effect on human health and recyclability.
