Ruvo Jiha, is a semi—recliner with replaceable cushioned seating part and steel base on solid oak rockers. With its wide comfortable seat and soft removable cushioned part, it’s a new addition to the Ruvo collection of armchairs and coffee tables. The Ruvo Jiha rocking semi—recliner brings comfort, a relaxed atmosphere and playfulness to every space, both at work and at home. The combination of three different materials brings an amazing design combination. The seat mold is made of molded foam, which guarantees durability and comfort that is additionally covered with a replaceable padded part. The textile of the padded part comes in three different categories and with a wide range of colors that the customer can choose. The base is made of a bent steel rod with a diameter of 12 mm, while the rockers are made of solid oak, 82.3 cm long. The oak used is known for its quality and durability. The geometry of the entire system is designed in such a way that this semi—reclining chair ergonomically suits people of different heights and sizes. Its relatively small dimensions, height 72.7 cm, length 82 cm and width 60.1 cm, are very practical and suitable for its placement in any environment. Maintenance of the Ruvo Jiha is easy and doesn’t require any special care. The cushioned semi—reclining chair is integrated into the design, creating an innovative product that is unique on the market.
At the helm of his multidisciplinary design studio in Osijek, Croatia since 2004, Madunić has a profound interest in interior design and museum and exhibition installations, ultimately rendering the entire spatial design process. Since 2008 he has been designing customized furniture for small clients, as well as for furnishing business interiors. Of the many awards, we list the “LG electronics Award of excellence” that he won for the design of air conditioners.
