FILIA

Collections of fashion brand FILIA consist of cotton, leather and silk pieces that emphasize beauty and naturalness. They offer to clients clothing combinations that are suitable for unforgettable evening outings, special festive occasions and daily business and private occasions. The collections consist of timeless pieces such as blouses, dresses, corsets decorated with interesting handmade lace details that follow the body line, and shirts, pants and skirts that are easy to combine for a day or evening look. FILIA brand collections are designed to last for many years. A special part of the collection is occupied by pieces of handwoven linen on the old Posavina loom, which were woven especially for FILIA collections. By designing and making clothes from handwoven linen and hand—made decorations, they want to bring the beauty of hand—made clothes closer to the audience. They have enriched the offer with a program for festive occasions in which clients will feel flawless, special and relaxed. The collection of flowing silk dresses in striking colors symbolizes optimism and highlights the beauty of the feminine silhouette. All models can be personalized and adapted to each client with an individual approach, tailor—made and choice of material color. At Zagreb Design Week, pieces from the previous collections of the FILIA brand and the new collection for autumn/winter 2022/2023 will be available.

FILIA is a sustainable fashion brand designed by costume designer and fashion designer Anamarija Filipović—Srhoj, member of HZSU. Sustainable brand FILIA connects timeless design with the history of clothing and handcrafting of garments. The FILIA brand cultivates a deep respect for the legacy of our ancestors, appreciates handicrafts and the knowledge of craftsmen. They create handmade garments with motifs of Croatian folk ornaments used in a modern way. They follow trends and strive to design garments that will last for years, producing smaller series. They are particularly proud of the pieces that are made of hand woven linen on an ancient loom made of fibres produced in Croatia. Laces used in the decoration of garments are handmade. The mission of the FILIA brand is to encourage handicrafts, research and promote the richness of Croatian folk ornament while combining the trends and needs of the modern woman. They find eternal beauty in the legacy of ancestors, which they try to implement into the brand’s contemporary creations. They pay great attention to every garment; want their clothes to fit perfectly and last a long time. Details are especially important, paying special attention to handicrafts, lace, embroidery. They want to work only with natural materials, to create clothes that you will enjoy. To keep, to share and to inherit.
