The Bumetria triptych work project is inspired by geometric and mathematical forms that follow a personal problematic story about mathematical subjects in primary and secondary school. The result is a presentation of mathematics and geometry through one’s own creative view where the two can be simple and interesting. Posters of the Bauhaus art school in Germany, which was active in the first half of the 20th century, also contribute to a great influence of inspiration in the choice of colours. The design of the work is accompanied by geometry, where halves and quarters of circles, rectangles and squares are correctly arranged, and the inclusion of +, – and x mathematical symbols. The initial design of the work was created digitally in the Adobe Illustrator program and was realized with an industrial tufting gun in the form of a tapestry.
