QWERTY UNIQUE - celebrates the sculptural and narrative quality of design, inspired by a highly aesthetical visual form and a complex mechanism of the earliest typewriters. Most exclusive and complex of all the QWERTY lines, the pieces unique are objects of desire with a fetish flavor. Each piece of these unique storytelling objects is made with an obsessive attention to detail. The recognizable parts of a typewriter like keys, levers, or cylindrical platen are used in their original state or redesigned and constructed by using contemporary materials and techniques. Each item shows mastery in craft such as woodworking, leatherworking, metalworking, etc., while exploring the technical and narrative possibilities of designs.
