The story behind Tomaz's wine labels is the close bond between the family and the town of Motovun. The "TM" logo reflects this connection, with the "T" representing Tomaz and the "M" symbolising Motovun.Tomaz's unconventional winemaking philosophy is captured in the slogan "frameless wines". The frame, evoking a work of art, connects visual and verbal communication, with the motif of the Motovun terroir overflowing from it.
Sparkling wines are reminiscent of the bubbling Mirna River. The cracked Motovun soil, whose composition provides for recognisable minerality, is imbued in the collection of fresh wines.
The aged wines, rounded off in oak barrels, are inspired by the motif of the oak that prevails in the Motovun forest, which is also home to the white truffle, a symbol of premium wines due to its prestigious feature. Each wine has an additional label, similar to those found in artwork exhibits, providing information about the author, place, variety, method, and time of creation.Audience interaction is further encouraged through QR codes that unlock videos showcasing Motovun's motifs, inviting wine enthusiasts to a sensorial exploration guided by aromatic notes and scents.
