The Ziher chair is a project that approaches sitting in a different way - it usually occurs on the chair's construction itself, while the idea for this new chair was to use as few structural elements as possible and place them in such a way that the user is supported solely by the comfort of the draped fabric, but also to create a chair different from the rest.
The basic construction consists of a bent metal rod which is then wrapped around turned wooden rods on which a piece of fabric is placed.
The wooden rods are composed of a central part and two plugs that allow the fabric to be removed for washing or replacement. The fabric is strained and adjusted to the user when sitting. Such lounge seating suggests relaxation, comfort and rest. The name Ziher chair comes from the similarity of the details of the bent metal rod of the chair and the end part of a safety pin (Croatian; Ziherica).
