Terrazza is an outdoor furniture brand based in Pula, and it will premiere the Sol kitchen at Zagreb Design Week. After years of running a family carpentry business, enriched with experience and a passion for woodworking, we launched our own brand of designer kitchen furniture that offers high-quality, sustainable kitchen solutions made from natural, locally sourced materials.
We are guided by the idea of producing outdoor products that are places of enjoyment and gathering, enriching outdoor spaces while harmonizing with the natural environment. The Sol kitchen was developed in collaboration with Croatian designers Karlo Palisko and Tvrtko Bojić, who operate independently through Studio Ru;t as a multidisciplinary studio. Sol is the result of a holistic approach to kitchen design – one that connects contemporary aesthetics, functionality, sustainability, and our commitment to sustainable and natural materials. To achieve this balance, we have devoted ourselves to the smallest detail, from the strength of the overall structure and individual parts to the precision of every line and edge. Designed as a modular kitchen system, the Sol kitchen comes in four basic sizes with various storage options and adapts to different functional and spatial needs. Made from natural materials – local oak and Pazin stone, Sol is a modular kitchen inspired by the tradition of Mediterranean enjoyment and craftsmanship. It is equipped with all the essential cooking elements, and the worktop and solid wood fronts reinforced with a stainless steel frame make it durable in outdoor conditions. Streamlined and modern in form, robust in volume, and tactile on the surface – Sol is the link between tradition and contemporary, craftsmanship and innovation. The vision of Terrazze is to create products that encourage socializing, promote local designers, and use local raw materials as environmentally friendly materials.
