Nunc

The tradition and culture of everyday life and the traditional design of utilitarian objects are reinterpreted in a contemporary language in combination with modern technology, resulting in a timeless aesthetic of simplicity that is present in every "now". The immense cultural heritage embodied in the Nunc collection was the main driver for the beginning of the translation from the past to the present.

Nunc is a word taken from the Latin language, which in translation means now, immediately. When creating the brand name, they were guided by the fact that Latin names bring prosperity and success, but when they came to the word Nunc, they realized that it actually represented everything they wanted the brand to say, which is to live a contemporary reinterpretation of old products, through modern technology , contemporary design while using vintage names for each product.

The names they chose for the products speak of the design character of each product, and this is supported by the typical vocabulary of the Slavonian region, the sounds and letters of which are unique only to this specific area. Given that Nunc is a brand from the heart of Slavonia, Đakovo, they wanted to inspire it with the very soul of that beautiful region, so the names of the products were taken from the dictionary of old Slavonic words such as Dik; which means pride, Bolta; onion, Ala; dragon, May; flower, Duja; two, and each name is carefully accompanied by the characteristics of the product itself.

This year they also won the prestigious RedDot award for their COT W product.

The Cot bar stool with wooden legs is the pinnacle of timeless design and classic materials. The legs create a stunning composition that suits different environments. The metal footrest draws attention to the structure of the chair and emphasizes its strong personality. This year, Cot won the prestigious RedDot award in the "Product design: High design quality" category. Designers: Studio Ru:T and Nataša Njegovanović. The jury agreed that "the fascinating and visually appealing details of COT W are what make the design of the bar stool so unique". Its distinctive character is largely due to the flowing shape of its generous seating surface, which is supported by round legs made of solid wood. This prestigious award we won for the wooden Cot inspired us to continue our work and effort.
