At the client's request, we created the verbal and visual identity of the dental practice. When creating a verbal identity, we moved away from the usual coinages of the word dent to create differentiation within the competition. Maxilla is the Latin name for the upper jaw. Unlike the movable lower jaw, the upper jaw stays firmly in place - just like the brand itself. The name contains the word maxi, which gives the brand promise: maximum service quality. Dental & Aesthetics Atelier was created as a brand signature, specifying the brand’s activities and the uniqueness and creativity of performance. The visual identity includes the typographical solution of the logo, containing the sign.
The letter X inside the word has been transformed into pliers, an indispensable instrument of every surgery also found in the depiction of St. Apolonija - the patroness of dentists.
Serif typography was chosen, giving the brand a touch of elegance, sophistication, tradition and trust. The chosen colors are reminiscent of succulents, plants that have meaning for the client. The color green is described as positive, refreshing, peaceful representing growth, health, safety, happiness and harmony, relieving anxiety, nervousness and stress. We added a beige shade to the green, evoking a feeling of peace, purity and harmony. It is a symbol of elegance and sophistication and creates an additional sense of space and openness.
