In the chronological sequence of the festival, we follow the authors through posters and publications, and through a selection of animations that can be viewed in the "cinema". Each period has its own "cinema" marked with a color for a certain decade. In order to fit the lists of the international jury according to the years of the festival, the idea was to place "sheets" over the seats, putting exhibition visitors in the role of the jury with cards listing the awarded films. The idea that Mandlek and the half-cylinder are the recognizable mascots of Animafest and Zagreb, is further elaborated through the graphic and spatial intervention of the exhibition itself. The hat that floats like a UFO and emits light, designed as a photo corner, invites visitors to step into the role of Mandlek for a moment with the attached mask.
