The screen printing workshop and T-shirt design exhibition is a unique interactive event where you can try printing designs on T-shirts and cotton tote bags and see a rich exhibition of T-shirt designs in the newly opened Pitsome Print Club. Screen printing is a technique that dates back to the “Silk Road” and was used by the famous Andy Warhol, among others, when creating his prints. Under the expert guidance of the Pitsome team for the entire duration of Zagreb Design Week learn about the secrets of the oldest and highest quality printing technique on textiles, paper and other materials, find out how the design is prepared for printing and try printing the design on a T-shirt using a squeegee.
In the Pitsome Print Club you can also see an exhibition of T-shirt designs as a sort of cross-section of 11 years of custom printing for various clients. Numerous local and foreign designers are the creators of band merch graphics, T-shirts for craft breweries, streetwear brand designs, etc. Through this exhibition Pitsome also presents it’s own designs, especially for it’s in-house urban farming T-shirt brand Motika.
