The School of Applied Arts and Design, founded in 1882, is the oldest educational institution of this kind in Croatia; the one that paved the way for all other subsequently founded schools and faculties of this kind. It is precisely this long tradition and a number of internal reforms that have resulted in the School’s adaptability to the new educational paradigms, giving birth to an education practice that transforms a regular art school into a haven of encouraging creativity for present and future generations.
At the exhibition ŠPUD – RETURN, the school presents recent student works from all departments of the school, reminiscing about the anticipation of the new school and return to all its premises.
