Handful of Fear is a sculptural costume form in which the author explores the idea of alchemising suppressed fear stored in our bodies through shape, colour and repetition. Using the creative process as a means of self-exploration, she intuitively traces the roots of her fears and becomes it. By feeling through her fears she transmutes it into the matter by merging design and meditation. In that way releasing the fear from her own body and stuffing it into the form of a sculpture.
