Everything will be fine is a project that focuses on an individual’s mental health through the application of a method from cognitive behavioural therapy. In a completely biodegradable box comes a pencil with an affirmative message on it. When the individual opens the box, they write everything that bothers them on the inner pages, thus removing negative thoughts from themselves. In the middle of the box, there are plant seeds (lavender/chamomile/immortelle). When the individual finishes writing on the pages, they fold the box according to the instructions and plants it on the ground. By watering and caring for the seeds, fragrant flowers grow out of them, just as taking care of ourselves over time, we too will be well, and problems will turn into something beautiful.
Maja Kristafor, a journalist and digital strategist, is in love with design. She started making her first steps in it back in 2015. The project ‘Everything will be fine’ emerged as the crown of her studies as part of her final work, which has so far won two main awards and one place in the finals at student competitions.
