KokoLoko is a furniture collection designed for kids and the Loko ones. Each piece presents a different combination of the same eight elements. Changing their combination gives you variations in functionality and its sculptural appearance, creating a variety of characters, depending on the eye of the consumer. KokoLoko is a bench, stool, coffee table or a shelf, but at the same time a car polygon or a dollhouse, design that gives your kid a possibility to create a character in a functional piece of furniture. The collection is designed to be assembled and disassembled, easy to transport and store, which is a problem solver when it comes to living in small spaces.
Hana Ciliga Zadro is a product designer working with my mother, an architect, and we design interiors together. Besides that, she continually works on my small scale furniture collections that she likes to describe as playful design. Project KokoLoko got her a special mention on Salone Satellite 2019. and a one-month residency in China in the same year.
