Sicko Disko is a club night that has been around since 2007 and has been airing on Radio808 every Saturday since 2013, featuring guest DJs, producers, and bands with their guest mixes. They’ve hosted artists such as Morcheeba, Stereo MCs, Felver, Sean Johnston, Justin Robertson, Lauer, Desire, Beppe Loda, Jogarde, and many others. Sicko Disko was founded by Marmat, who has been DJing for nearly 20 years and has performed in cities ranging from Mumbai to London, Budapest, Vienna, Stuttgart, Ljubljana, Sarajevo, Split, Rijeka, and Belgrade. He has also performed at some of Croatia's top festivals, such as The Garden Festival, Soundwave, Stop Making Sense, and Hartera, and has appeared twice at Exit Festival. In Zagreb, Marmat has played in clubs and at events like ZG Film Fest, Eurokaz, and ZG Design Week. His musical style primarily revolves around electro disco indie house, though he also explores other genres. Freez joins Marmat as a DJ, radio host, and editor in the Sicko Disko crew.
Freez, who has been on the scene for 20 years, is also known as the founder of the Breaklectica night and a member of the iconic Zagreb-based Groodanje collective. He has performed in numerous clubs and at music and film festivals across Croatia, sharing the DJ booth with well-known artists such as The Freestylers, Amon Tobin, Roger Sanchez, Kraak & Smaak, Asad Rizvi, and others.
Currently, they have performed or are performing in Zagreb (Funk Club - residents, Ro&Do, Rockstar Cafe), at Art Park and Pop-up Summer Garden, and in Križevci (Klub Kulture), Varaždin (Bard Club), as well as recently in Rijeka (Nemo), Pula, Split (Judino Drvo), and at the LMF Festival on Jarun. This season, they’ve added Sisak and Zadar to their list of performances. Both are seasoned DJs who know how to keep the dancefloor moving.
Sicko Disko je klupska večer koja postoji od davne 2007. godine, a od 2013. godine seli i u radijski eter subotama na Radio808 gdje ugoscuju razne DJe, producente i bandove sa njihovim guestmixevima. Imali su goste poput Morcheebe, Stereo MCs, Felver, Sean Johnston, Justin Robertson, Lauer, Desire, Beppe Loda, Jogarde i mnoge druge. Sicko Disko je osnovao Marmat koji se DJ-ingom bavi već skoro 20 godina, a u svojoj je karijeri posjetio gradove od Bombaya do Londona, Budimpešte, Beča, Stuttgarta, Ljubljane, Sarajeva, Splita, Rijeke i Beograda te je nastupao na nekim od najboljih festivala u Hrvatskoj kao što su The Garden Festival, Soundwave, Stop Making Sense, Hartera, a bio je i dvaput na Exitu. U Zagrebu, uz klubove je gostovao na ZG film festu, Eurokazu i ZG Design week. Uglavnom se drži electro disco indie housea, ali nisu mu strani ni neki drugi stilovi. U Sicko Disko ekipi mu se kao DJ, voditelj i urednik na radiju pridružuje i Freez.
Freez, koji je na sceni prisutan već 20 godina, poznat je i kao osnivač večeri Breaklectica te dio kultnog zagrebačkog Groodanje kolektiva. Nastupao je u brojnim klubovima kao i na glazbenim te filmskim festivalima širom Hrvatske, a za DJ pultom su mu se pridružila i mnoga poznata imena kao što su The Freestylers, Amon Tobin, Roger Sanchez, Kraak & Smaak, Asad Rizvi,…
Trenutacno su bili ili nastupaju u Zagrebu (Funk club - rezidenti, Ro&Do, Rockstar caffe), na Art parku i Pop up summer garden te Krizevcima (Klub kulture), Varazdinu (Bard klub), a nedavno su bili i u Rijeci (Nemo) te Puli i Splitu (Judino drvo) i na LMF festivalu na Jarunu, a ove sezone su dodali i Sisak te Zadar. Obojica su prekaljeni lisci koji znaju kako rasplesati dancefloor.
