Design is everywhere around us today – from the apps we use every day, to the brands we love, to the visual identities of the cities we live in. But the question is: how does the public perceive those behind it all? Are designers today visionaries and artists? Or creative problem-solvers shaping our everyday lives? Prompt writers learning to converse with artificial intelligence? Or are they still reduced to the role of “wizards” for fonts, colors, and logos? How much do people really understand what a designer does, and how much do they value their role in society and business?
